diegetic sound: sound that characters in the film can hear
non-diegetic sound: sound that the characters in the film can't hear, but we the audience can, e.g. a voice over
cinematography: the camerawork.
mise en scene: message conveyed in scene
editing: the way the shots are put together, also the way the sound is put together.
