MEDIA DIARY, from Monday

well its a school night so that ofcourse means that the music comes on when i return home and doesn't go off untill night time. lately i've been listening to a lot of Bassekou Kouyate, he's a bit brilliant.
went on facebook, for ages and ages. i didnt watch any tv apart from a bit of World's Most Amazing Videos, it is possibly the greatest piece of prgramming ever, apart from that program called hole in the wall, where people jump through holes in walls, thats brilliant.

MEDIA DIARY, from Tuesday

not much media activity going on today on account of massive English Lit. essay :'(
music was on in the background all night however, i was enjoying the recently released Kitty, Daisy and Lewis album. its an agreeable listen, in a hillbilly styling.

MEDIA DIARY, from Wednesday

listened to vinyls all night as i was relatively free on the homework front and therefore had enough time to be faffing around with the player and disks and all those things, there is something satisfying about having a vinyl record rather than a download, its more of a thing to cherish i think. went on facebook for a long while, as per usual. watched axe men and trawler men on TV, can't wait for the next series of ice road truckers.

MEDIA DIARY, from thursday

it was a pretty average day on thursday, listened to music and went on facebook and msn. also checked my bands myspace, which obviously had not been done in a very long time judging by the amount of unanswered important messages. i enjoyed this wonderful piece of film on youtube today

MEDIA DIARY, from Friday

Friday was party night, which meant the only media source i received was the music played by the Dj, so i probably enjoyed the latest chart toppers and a few "classics"

Hi Morgan,

Your musical taste is quite eclectic. Do you deliberately go out of your way to find music that you know others won't be listening to? In other words, do you consider yourself to be something of a musical visionary? Thinking about audience demographics and what we've talked about this week, how would place yourself? Why do you think your tastes differ from the 'norm' of people your age?

i find that normal is dreadfully dull, don't you think? if everything sounded the same the world would be awful. i find music thats different far more interesting and engaging than Razorlight or something as similarly tragic, and laking in invention or any interesting features (not a fan of Razorlight)

Don't feel bad about dissing a dire middle of the road band. Millions of people out there are deaf to the possibilities of genius. :-)

Choose your own path wisely and do not slip off it, when dark rains of mediocrity fall. Ancient proverb.
