here is the storyboard for our final piece.

Our second outing to Ashridge was much more productive and we came out with a lot more footage, enabling us to complete the main film. Plus we could shoot it in glorious HD as there as an HD camera free to use this time around. in addition to this footage we also used the studio at school to film the additional footage of Kia as if he was being interviewed by the police.

The images on the previous post are of our time in Ashridge woods shooting. This first outing with the camera and everyone did not produce very much footage, a mere 30 seconds or so in fact. We produced a good set of shots that, when edited together with a bad TV effect and atmospheric music, looked like a professional teaser trailer and so we have decided to use it as a loop for the DVD menu of our finished piece. This meant another trip to the woods!

'Youth' - Synopsis

Based on a true story. In 1998 a group of ill-fated teens were camping in a tyrannized woodland and were never seen again. Lifelong friends Josh Thompson, Alex Sanders and Katie Johnston were celebrating their last night together before going to university. Josh, 18, has been longing after Katie, secretly, for years. Katie, unfortunately is in a long term relationship and Josh has to put on a façade, for the sake of their friendship. Alex, the cynic, is Josh's best friend. When they unwittingly stumble upon another group of teens, Josh feels obliged to protect Katie, while Alex refuses to submit to the Youth's reign; the Youth that are hunting them down, like lambs to the slaughter.


The 'Youth' are a gang like no other.
